How our Free Shop-at-Home Consultations work:

Help us to maintain the highest level of service while maintaining our price advantage.  

Collaborate with us.
Take some rough measurements, draw a picture (or bring in your building plans) or take photos of the windows/rooms with your smart phone.

Email.
Many of our clients email their measurements and attach photos (if appropriate)

Call.
We welcome phone inquiries – a great way to begin the collaboration/conversation.  One of our designers will take your information and requirements and get back to you with basic information – ready to  take the next step.

Visit one of the showrooms and design centres.
Talk to one of the designers.  They’ll look at the photos/drawings, review the measurements and offer suggestions, both practical, functional and design.

The Designer will price out your options.
Based on your discussions, the designer will provide you with a written quote.

Free In-Home Consultation.
Once you’ve narrowed down your selection – It’s time arrange a time convenient for both you and the designer who will take the next step.  Bringing out samples, measuring the windows and providing a final price including installation and applicable taxes.

When do we CHARGE for In-Home Consultations?
(Chargeable consultations will be applied against the cost of any project with a product value over $1,000) 
1) Small orders
2) Colour Consultations
3) If you are outside our regular service area
4) Complicated – Initial new-home consultations

*It is up to each Designer to determine whether to ask for a refundable consultation fee – determined by the level of collaboration of the client, the designers availability, the location of the project, local conditions (parking, traffic etc.)
